Dont normally name my guitars, but after staring at the back for a minute, think I have to name it Cthulhu! I know this is made in China, but if she plays and sounds half as good as she looks.....probably the closest to a Private Stock I'll ever get! UPS teased me with a projected delivery today, now its bumped to Monday......

Those look really, really nice! I expect the build quality will be very good too.

I gave my son an SE Angelus two years ago and he absolutely loves it. I know the Tonare is made in China but those who have bought them give 'em great reviews.

That’s a real beauty, I’d like to try one myself just to see how it sounds and plays.
PRS getting high praise on all their product line, that’s saying something.
    Enjoy
Hope you can let us know what you think of it.

I love my 2012 PRS Angelus Standard-I heard great things about the Tonare 60-E. Gorgeous guitar.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts and experience playing this beauty!

Not getting here till Monday, if she plays and sounds half as good as she looks, should be pretty amazing!

I have an Angelus A40E. Nice guitar, and as someone posted "purdy".

I also like the controls in the sound hole an not a control unit carved into the top. Still has the appearance of a non-electric.

The included case was a nice option too.

I opted for a lighter gauge set of strings than it arrived with. Being mainly an electric player, the set that it came with were a little stiff for me.

    Have fun!

    That really is lovely.

Interesting though that that the strings aren’t quite straight through at the nut. Wonder why they did it that way? Are all the PRS acoustics like that?

Sorry for the thread hijack Iceman. Looking forward to a full report when it gets there.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

String spacing , follow it in your head, if they made straight lines they would all be bunched close together on either side with a large gab in the center of the board.
