PRS SE Singlecut Korina - Holy cow!! I got me one!

    I really like this wood as well. I think limba may be the more accurtate name(?) but I just prefer saying korina. Sounds like a woman's name.:D

    I'm waiting for a pair of GFS Dream 90's to show up and I'll probably pop those in at some point and see what happens.


    I've done the very same thing more than once as well. Now I always remind myself to rent before I buy.


    I prefer the sound of uncovered pickups but I prefer the look of covered p/u's so I'm considering ordering up a few of these partial covers. I think they would look very cool on this guitar and I'll use them on a couple other guitars as well. There's two styles I can get and I think I prefer the completely open cover. Both are from UK distributors as I can't find any in N.America.

    I think "korina" is a gibson trade name for limba.Good stuff no matter what you call it.

    Hey maybe if I buy this korina guitar I'll name it Corina. I thought that up all by myself. :D

    Holy cow! I haven't owned an electric guitar in about a year or so, and only briefly then. I only have a cheapie acoustic at the moment.

    Seeing that thing makes me want to go out and buy a new guitar! LOL That thing is beautiful, but I'm a big fan of the SE line of guitars.
