    i did some wet sanding and buffing today, gettin there

    Try some heavy metal humbuckers. That should add weight to the body!

    The color and grain look perfect, amazing work.

    I was into doing a Gibson style but the kid wants a Jackson Rhoads V. Big RR fan so what the heck. Should be pretty straight forward compared to this one

    I would think so too.
    A Flying V should be easier than your current build.
    I'll be subscribed to that build thread as well.
    Very entertaining, and educational.

    Are you open to the idea of adopting a 30-year-old man and building him a guitar like that? I've got a job and a house and stuff, so I'd be pretty low-maintenance as far is kids go.
