Try some heavy metal humbuckers. That should add weight to the body!

Future rock star!
Wow, it's gorgeous! Your son is a lucky young man.
That's a beautiful finish on that gorgeous maple cap.
I just read the first page of this thread again.. Are you saying that this is only your second guitar?!
It's spectacular in any case!
that would be true, thank you!
It turned out just as beautiful as we thought it would.
The color and grain look perfect, amazing work.
So what's next?
I was into doing a Gibson style but the kid wants a Jackson Rhoads V. Big RR fan so what the heck. Should be pretty straight forward compared to this one
I would think so too.
A Flying V should be easier than your current build.
I'll be subscribed to that build thread as well.
Very entertaining, and educational.
Thanks for posting your work.
It will be painted black so it will be nice for a change. Should be fun!
Are you open to the idea of adopting a 30-year-old man and building him a guitar like that? I've got a job and a house and stuff, so I'd be pretty low-maintenance as far is kids go.
Hahahahahaa, you get an A+ for effort!
