WD shoreline gold body with 2003 Am Std neck. It has Dimarzio Area T's and a ss bridge plate off ebay with Wilkinson comp saddles. This thing sings!

Not as long as they're referred to as Partscasters. Sorry. [IMG]

image.jpeg All GFS, except for SD Rhythm Stack neck pup.

Set this up for mellow jazz and more, not Tele twang. (Using 11s!)

Reverse control plate with vol forward for volume swells, 12" rad and standard chunkier C neck (not modern), slanted headstock (no string trees), gotta install the truss rod cover/plate, and she's got black and pearl knobs and black and pearl Gotoh style tuners.

These have been posted elsewhere but not in this thread. My MJT bodied gals. The Custom Esquire has an Allparts Fat neck with Benson Custom pups. The Blackguard has a WD Fat neck with a Cavalier tapped pup. Hardware is mostly Fender.

My shell pink Tele. Started out with this Obeche body.

And after a USA Custom Guitar neck (PRS-like C shape neck with a 7.25"-9.5" fretboard) and a couple Porter pickups (smooth humbucker and a tapped bridge --first wrap is about 7,500 winds of 42 gauge and second adds about 3,000 winds of 43 gauge wire).

And here is what it looks like now.

Here's my first ever tele, partscaster or otherwise. Not terribly unique I know. Just your basic double bound Allparts body ('62 RI style I think to which I added a microtilt option), MIM neck that I scraped the nasty thick, glossy and poorly applied fretboard finish and applied three light coats of Tru Oil (perfect for me now), a Gotoh modern 6 saddle bridge, Tusq XL nut, 3-way reverse controls with a CRL 3 way Switch, CTS solid shaft vintage style 250k pots, Sprague .047 Orange Drop cap, Switchcraft Jack and a Stew-Mac volume treble bleed kit. The harness was made by Atlantic Custom Guitars and is a fine piece. Pickups are unknown at this point. No idea how to ID. They sound fine fro me so it doesn't matter I guess beyond having a starting reference point for any future changes.

Never wanted, needed, on had an interest in one. Until this year. As I 'mature' my tastes and styles are shifting and this one came about as a bit of an accident. I bought a very nice built Strat, USA body and MIM neck, SD loaded and the first Strat I ever bonded with. I liked it enough to install a USA neck which left me with an extra, perfect playing MIM Strat neck. After reading about mating Strat necks with Tele bodies and researching the proper pickguard options for that pairing. So off I went to find a cheap loaded tele body. The idea was to end up under $300.00 complete. However, in my searching I found this loaded body, like new, at what I though was a decent price so I committed. Problem is that it was so damned pretty that I could not bring myself to Frankentele it to the Strat neck, so I picked up a nearly new MIM neck to keep the look right. I am very glad I did. As it sits right now I have doubled my budget but it's just a great player. and I can't imagine a similar model at twice the price could be any better, except possibly for a pickup change.

Allparts alder body, warmoth maple neck, fender tuners and pretty much all hardware, not sure what brand is the bridge, GFS fatbody in the neck (it was supposed to be temporary but I ended up liking so who knows!) and the bridge pickup I'm not sure what it is but I think is an Affinity that it's there just until I find a good deal on a SD Custom 5.

I have built a couple Telecasters and a bass from custom parts. Sold the Telecasters kept the bass. Getting ready to do a telecaster build from an old Lane hope chest, it has very beautiful Cedar.
