After I completely gone through this guitar. She is a keeper. I never could have imagined that P-90s could sound this good!

Mostly Rondo, with some Artec humbucker, P-90 goodness under the skin

Long story how this set neck tele came to me, but it emerged from a TDPRI challenge a few years back

I bought one of these after receiving some Amazon gift cards for Christmas. Price was $169. After using the cards and paying shipping, I was only out $40. I would have paid much more. It's a good guitar. No mods so far.

    Big Block Tele

My big block inlay Tele project. I wanted a Tele with big block Gibson style inlays, so I built this one.

    Super cool.

No Kirns on here yet, surprising. Maybe they're all in the T-Type thread we keep not-so-subtly getting reminded about.

the red Peavey Reactor, that led me back to tele-land. Found it used, couldn't get it out of my mind, cheap as dirt, but made in USA. That was a little over 10 years ago. The lizard is another story. The other one, made by Bob Logan, ash & walnut, known as Root Beer.

I think I like it better with the black pickguard.

This is a somewhat weird-looking guitar but I really like it! Did you build it?

I call them "Telebastards"! (Just one, so far)

Obviously, a lot of beautiful, pristine axes grace this thread; ALL of them "knockouts"! This my first "Tele-remod". I was going for sound and not necessarily looks. Hope this doesn't disqualify me. All my personal guitars have tremolo's; Kahler, remod on a Wing-series 1980 Washburn Hawk (installed by Bill Fels at the Guitar Factory in Orlando); Lic Floyd Rose on a Charvel/Jackson '87 Model 3; Wilkinson VS-100G, piezos, on a Parker P-38; 6-screw Fender "Synchronized" trem on a "Strat" remod; Hag Tremar NOS on a DeArmond Sevenstar remod, transformed into a "Guild Thunderbird" although Guild never made a 7-string version. My Number One. I won't be painting this, or any other Tele I put together. Most vintage I've seen, Broadcasters and Nocasters were not painted, just a clear wood finish. I like that. 5-way Oak Grigsby wiring has been challenging. Seymour Duncan included a few diags with the T2b. None of them utilized, completely, the abilities of the T2. A TDPRI "vet" shot me a diagram: very close, but didn't give me series T2, to utilize the 20+ohms of the pup. I've drawn up my own, and will share it with you all, if it works. Doesn't have THE LOOK, but it plays like butter and the 5-way, once rewired, will be devastating. The next Tele will sport a SD Quarter Pound set; have everything but the pups. I am keeping this one. The wire channel to the Hag was at a very difficult angle and you can see "chuck burns" over the Tremar. Going for sound, this time. Got the right bit for the one(s) I sell. Oxide from the frets or fretboard was not wiped clean, but rather smeared it around while demo-ing it; giving it a patina of "use". Watch this space....for the next one[IMG]
