I've got a cut price Esquire build on the go mostly from parts I already have left over..The ash body is going to get a simple thin Milk paint job, with the grain pattern popped with some ebony stain. Maple neck already shot with amber nitro.

I'm not sure if this counts, but here's my ash white blond relic'd one, with a cream pickguard.

Nice guitars, chaps, but not seeing (I think) milk paint, chalk paint or other variants of the rustic variety.... Come on, post those home finished babies....

Does this fit the category? Oil over whitewash?
(Pretty sloppy; I'm not that good at finishes... but it's for the road. And it's light.)

Just TruOil, like everyone else... I had it hanging in my studio for a month, sticking oil on it every day. It seems to have worked)
