Love the Reverend Horton Heat, he's always good for a smile or three.
When the writer doesn't take himself or anyone too seriously...
I still recall seeing the Marshall Tucker Band (in 1977) at the Boston Music Hall. The only time I was fortunate enough to see them live. Enjoyed the heck out of it. Still brings on a smile. Especially listening to Toy Caldwell on lead guitar and Doug Gray on vocals on Ramblin'.

This is what Make Me Smile!
This one truly made me laugh out loud. Even got (most) of the famous break right--on a banjo.
Wonderful memories of our young family going for drives, hikes, unknown destinations. We hear this tiny voice in the backseat and it's my daughter Dylan, barely old enough to talk, singing every word in tune and in time, there in her car seat. Wife and I look at each other amazed. I still play this song when I do my little acoustic gigs. Nobody knows it but I don't care. Stirs me every time.
believe in something....that something is love...
makes me smile

And of course, this one with Stevie Ray Vaughan:
What about this...
This - the dancing and especially Marc Ribot's solo!
Love this Tom Petty song, brings a smile every time. The video (made by his daughter) is also wonderful.
