I gotta try a short scale bass like that on a gig.
Never played a short scale bass.
Personally I love shorter scale bass's, spent many years on a Fender VI and an obscure 1970s Yamaha 30" 4 stringer, had a P Bass before the VI and another again now but it stays in the case, subservient to the 40+ year old Yamaha
All those old arguments against a short scale... like the sound is "too tubby" due to the decreased tension etc. are negated I think by the vast improvement in bass amplification. It used to be like comparing a Pinto vs. a Crown Victoria. With the better amps we have now it's more like a Mustang vs. a Camaro. They're just different flavors of the same thing. And the shorter scale and lighter weight sure make it more fun!
I tried to clean it up a little but I don't have flesh tone. Anyhow, I love the look on the sister's face on the right.
My new puppy, Zoe, picked up a twig in the yard and started to stroll around with it. I just thought it was the cutest thing I’d ever seen.
More pictures of Zoe, please. She's sooooo cute!
Waylonfan76, my eight year old yellow lab will not go anywhere without carrying something, usually a honeycomb KW ball.
Give Zoe a couple of years and she'll be like Tufnell...
That's the cutest thing I've seen too. It's a very good photo - looks like it was shot by a pro!
You're gonna run outta gas if you don't slow down.
Just hangin around!....
