uploadfromtaptalk1456604668108.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1456604679658.jpg I promise this will be the final time I poll the forum on this topic. Here is the body with the chrome pickup ring and with the flat black pickguard. Honestly I am at a loss. When I put on the pickup ring I thought "well there she is." It was simple, yet elegant. I didnt even think a pickguard would be in question. Now that I have seen it with a pickguard I kind of dig that too as it now looks like a tele. ( I was always under the belief that a tele wasnt a tele without a pickguard. Kind of like a sandwich without bread.) So now I look to you fair forum. Pickguard or no?

Pickguard. I personally would go non-gloss single ply black to emphasise the timber and control plate.

Pickguard. Same as above, single ply black matte would put the emphasis on the guitar top and the control plate. Glossy BWB competes for attention.

No pickguard vote here. Why cover up all that gorgeous flame if you don't have to?

A Telecaster is one that seems lose a bit of its identity without it's pickguard. I think it needs one too...

I like the pickguard, but you really need black screws.

That pickup ring just doesn't look as good to me.

It's a gorgeous guitar either way, so by all means please yourself, follow your own preference.

Pickguard. Curious what single ply white would look like, but I think I'd land on single-ply black too.
