I had an Al Caiola album in 1965 of instrumentals that probably was a reason I continued in music. A very laid back "love" jazzy album. Perfidia was on it in a very slow version and beautiful. I have tried to find that album a couple of times and apparently, it's very rare. I cannot find it anywhere. Nor have I even seen a cover shot of it. Go figure.

I had that one too! Played it over and over on my portable record player in my room. Loved it!

    Nicely done.

I thought I had that Al Caiola album as well, but I have his Golden Guitar from around 1964.

The version of Perfidia that I have is on an album called Tough Strings by Bill Muir & His Combo ( Kapp Records ), probably a record club purchase from around 64 - 65 as well
