For the record its 'wood-er' here.
Born in Philly and raised in the Philly region. Temple U undergrad. Though I've lived in Virginia for 20 years I detest Virginia and will always be a Pennsylvanian, a Philadelphian and a Yankee.
Not sure how I missed this. A-hem.
Born in Delaware, but lived in Chester County, PA most of my life. Currently in southern Chester County, @ 20 minutes south of West Chester and about 3 miles from Lancaster county...gigged in Manheim a few weeks ago and Otterhound stopped by for a while. I've also been to the jams he has hosted, a good egg, no doubt. In fact, I've met a lot of these cats at assorted jams over the years.
ps--I've been through Intercourse...you're not missin' anything!
Whoops. I missed this one too. Checking in from outside of Mount Joy, Lancaster County. Born and raised cain here. Yup, I'm a pumpkin roller, but thank God I'm a country boy. I'm not Amish, but they live around here.
What's this thing about a PA jam? Can anyone fill me in?
Not a clue, but would love to have a get-together with the locals!
Sorry to hear that...
I don't how I missed this thread either. From York, which used to be home of the York Peppermint Pattie, until Hershey Foods bought it and moved production to Mexico.
Gig around the area pretty steady. If you ever see the JC Fisher Band playing somewhere, stop by and you can buy me a beer!
The PA Jam is an occasional, informal gathering hosted by otterhound in Manheim
I'll have to look up this otter hound.
Yeah, I would absolutely attend a jam...

Scranton area here, lousy guitar player, better drummer
You have some nice gear there.
Born in Scranton, moved to Virginia Beach for a few years now back in good ol' Scranton.
Into Blues and rock
Any chance of a PA Jam anytime soon? Maybe with winter coming we could all find a spot to converge and make some noise!
Maybe we could get something going down in the city for once? Haha. Pitch in for a practice space or something like that? There are plenty of cool music shops to see too.
I lived in Womelsdorf for a few months when I first moved back up to PA. Now I'm a whole 5 miles down the road in Myerstown.
I used to go swimming at Meyerstown quarry as a kid. That was some cold-ass water!
I grew up near Birdsboro- halfway between Pottstown and Reading. I live in Boston now, but I get back every so often to get a drink of some crick wooder.
Any Scranton players here
The wife and I bought a fixer-upper on the West side of Philly in Lansdowne, and will be moving there within the next six months. Figure I should introduce myself now, so I have some other Teles to jam with!
