I have the Made in Sri Lanka Arion SCO-1 Compressor, apparently far inferior to the MIJ one. It is awful, but works okay for bass. Then, I have the Aphex Bass Xciter (Bog Bottom Aural exciter). Oooohhh ... this is nice for guitar, esp when some of the fashionable comrpessors and dirt pedals siphon off the bottom end.

    the dirt box

I have one called the dirt box that was made by maxon, I believe circa 76-78. This was my first pedal I ever bought back then. Years ago a friend ended up with it, just got it back via a gear trade.

Here is a link from effects database.

Here is a picture. Little beat up...but what do you expect for a 35 year old pedal that got lotsa "love"...

Have some other I will post later...

Thank you! I never was aware of that. I think I'm gonna find me a used Boss Flanger.

I haven't heard of anyone else on here using one of these:

It's a Rothwell Tornado, "a class A, single-ended overdrive using JFETs throughout", and it's the best pedal I have ever owned.

    Here
    Boss OD-20

It has a Klon Centaur emulation.... and a Fulltone emulation.

Because this pedal is horrible and digital, it lacks a lot of high treble, and it gets muddy quickly. I prefer to use it with bass. For example, the Fulltone and Tube Screamer settings don't cut any bass when you turn up the 'bottom' knob.

The Rockman setting is beyond useless. It isn't even that cocked wah Boston sound, it is an unusable pile of mids, white and static noise.

I have a Stephenson FMD booster pedal. It's versatile, but takes a centre positive power supply, which is a little bit inconvenient.
