I will be taking amp to a tech but just curious what may be wrong:

At first, pilot light stays on amp is fine.

After 15 minutes or so the pilot light will flicker and I get a crackle sound from the flicker but the amp still plays.

It just started today, I don't push this amp past 3 on volume because I live in a condo.

    Thanks for any input.

Sounds like a loose connection/cold solder joint to me - let us know what you find out.

Well first thing to check would be the pilot bulb and the pilot bulb socket. I had a same issue
but on a different brand amp. I replaced the bulb socket and that fixed the problem.

It may just be the pilot bulb needs screwing into the housing. Not familiar with the amp but it may be a screw fitting rather than bayonet. Take it out, clean it out (with power off).

If the amp keeps working after it goes off it's probably just that.

    Thanks for the replies.

Looks like the light is soldered to a board, no socket.

I'll let you know what a tech finds.

    Thanks again.
