I finally got all the parts in. I think it turned out very nice. The body is from guitar mill. It is a one piece swamp ash with transparent Mary Kaye White finish (nitro) double bound in black. The bridge and saddles are Glendale. Pickups from Don Mare. The pots etc. are from RS guitar works and the neck from a Crook Custom. It still needs a little tweaking and hope it will bring me many years of service. The picture does not do it justice; I need to get a better camera. If you click on the picture it will enlarge the shot and make it more in focus.

Sorry about that, I was trying to add a picture of the whole guitar. No luck.

That's a gorgeous looking Telecaster, Jett! You certainly didn't go down the budget route with this one. ;) Judging from the picture it really did pay off! The neck looks awesome, and the black binding lends it a very classy look.
    Congratulations and enjoy! :)

    Thanks

Thanks everyone for the kinds words. I took my time ordering all the pieces. I seached the threads looking for the best suppliers to use and purchased based on what what discussed about them. Mario at Guitar Mill is excellent to work with. Don Mare, Dale at Glendale and all the other people that I dealt with putting this together did what they said they would do in the time they said they would do it. Without this forum, I dont think I could have put together as nice of a guitar.

    Static on Pickguard

The only problem I am having on this guitar is static build up on the pickguard. I was thinking of trying the control cavity paint first. The dryer sheets idea is not working long term. What has worked best for your partscasters?

Real nice! Like your use of dark binding.Nice contrast. What Mare pickups did you go with?
