...the 32 lb 1967 Princeton Reverb.

Gotta thank TDPRI member and all-around great guy milocj for hooking me up.

He's a long-time member here and has forgotten more about amps than I'll ever know.

This thing is so early, if it had been made a month earlier it'd be blackface . Innards are though.

Nice all the way around. Light and if we gig (we're down to about 6 a year at this point) I can mic it.

The Jensen pictured is being replaced today with a Weber and I'm sure I'll try a Celestion G-10 Vintage eventually - like Campilongo and my bandmate Jude use.

My PR is the one I tend to grab when I go play somewhere, sweet sounding little amp and with a guitar one trip in and out.
There was a time when I said the same thing about a Twin Reverb. :)

Panel flipped around so I can get to the mid pot. Next to the mid is just an empty jack connnected to - nothing.

Besides the mid pot - all stock.

Is that a line-out next to the mid pot on back? You might not even have to mike it for gigs.....just run line-out to PA....(?)

48lb would be a welcome relief for me. Try lugging a 70 lb Twin Reverb around without castors. As a matter of fact I might be making such a trade tonight... my Twin for a Mesa Boogie TA-30 1x12 combo.

I've seen some old ones without any of the back panels.

They probably lost them or something, but it makes the amp lighter.

Great amp! Congratulations. My Princeton is plenty for most of the gigs I play these days even without a mic on it. Have fun and enjoy the healthy back.

Niiiiccce! Milocj is a class act, and that’s a class amp.

But inquiring minds wanna know. What Jensen? Is it blown or are you boxing it for safety? And what Weber?

    Play well and prosper!

The Jensen was a reissue smooth cone alnico P10Q.

Way too much breakup for me/too honky and raspy.

Milocj graciously provided a 50 watt Weber P10F150P which I think is great - and it's not even broken in.

But, since there isn't the orig speaker - I'm gonna find one. Which will probably take time and a little bit of dough.

    Old C12N's or C12NS's aren't cheap !

In the mean time I'm going to reacquaint myself w/ PR's.

I only owned the backbreaker AC15 for 6 months but I played it everyday and though the wattage is similar, PR's and AC15's are sooo different it's like they're not even the same appliance !

Happy for you!!! It’s a great amp and although its price has risen, you can still find good deals. This one is my next buy.
