I recently acquired a nice Panaramic 1210 (Magnatone 213) that needs a bit of maintenance but looks pretty clean.
I see by some references that when I plug an external cabinet in, the internal speaker becomes disconnected. (I assume to maintain a certain impedance match?) but there are two external speaker outs on mine, what exactly is this set up for?

I’m guessing it’s for 2 external speaker cabs. You’d still have to match impedance though.

Yes I guessed that as well. I was hoping someone might know what impedance is proper. Is there anything worth noting about using both external outs as compared to just one. Is one different than the other ? Perhaps does one kill the internal speaker but the other does not?
Two external outs strikes me as odd.

Is it a stereo amp like the 280?

No but it does have a stereo input, however it simply sums the two channels.
Since first posting this I had my question answered by a service tech during a tune up.
The transformer is looking for an 8 ohm load and the external outputs do not disconnect the internal speaker (which is 8 ohms) Best use is to plug in a 16 ohm cab to keep the total load reasonable.
The original Oxford speaker sounds so so but I'm going to replace it with a 10" Greenback and an adaptor baffle.
