Very special, but VERY good!
such a nice guitar
did you make the neck?
I'm going to start breaking this one down again:
I'll be routing a control cavity and putting in a tele neck pickup and an old low-wind Teisco in the middle position
Thank you, really dig it. No the neck is a cheap ebay one, but needed some fret job...
the color palette is great
re: ebay, I wish all neck sellers would specify thickness at (I don't know what you call it, the wrist?) the underside of the neck near the nut
where did you get those cool knobs?
Knobs are for amps initially, from tubeampdoctor or something...
And yes, I'd love that specifications too, for necks... really helpfull!
Thank you for appreciation, indeed a great guitar! (now gone, but working on a similar one, P90's as well... man I dig that sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
For those of you with HH Telecasters, here's an option for P90s. These are Jason Lollar HB-sized P90s - they are excellent pickups, lots of mid-range snarl!!

I like Unkie Al's guitar. That said; rather than rip apart a perfectly good Telecaster, I'd shop for a new P90. Godin, Reverend, Gibson, Yamaha, Epiphone, and others make good ones at all price points. I'd also shop for a pre-loved guitar. Often they're special.
