Yes - my favourite , is Otis Rush. He is the Poet of the blues. It's him & no one else who put the lyricism inside this art & inside the guitar

Mmmmm, yeah, love some Otis. I always think that Albert King and Otis have very similar sounds and wondering if it is because they both play left handed or similar guitar tunings or just that special Chicago blues of the time.

Thanks. It does seem that way to me too, I was just wondering about the back story on these two.

F**king stroke. Otis is still with us, but not doing well since his stroke in 2004. Just like that, a little switch was tripped and now he is stuck inside a body that doesn't respond well.

I know a singer who worked with him, and she feels that he is in good hands with his wife.

Unlike many other bluesmen, Otis has a good family and a great wife. Yup, the stroke took him away from music, but he had just recorded two masterpieces back to back
