OK then, working on a pint of Chivas Regal in a motel in So. Cal., visiting my dying dad and my narcissistic sister. Och, tamale. I do not belong in So. Cal. Bogus. Going home Thursday. Oog.

    Word is right.

    Timothy Lake?

Used to live in Molalla-Silverton area. Went up to Timothy and Shinning lakes quite often.

Oregon City/ Clackamas resident here! No real plans to leave Oregon since I have a semi-long term job in Wilsonville and am going to Clackamas Community College.

You are close to me in age and I lived in Salem when I was in High School, but you were probably in Lebanon by then.

Yeah, my parents moved away from Salem in 1960. I went half a year in first grade to Swegle Elementary. Last summer my wife and I went out to Oregon, and walked around the old neighborhood. The school is still there, and the house my dad built is nearby.

I'm in! Living in Medford at the base of Roxy Ann, above the fog. Time to BBQ and dime the TR!

Yeah I really dig the mild climate of Oregon. No deep freezes or crazy long hot summers with insane humidity.

And the dirt biking is fantastic!

    Your Eastern Brother

Hello guys, it appears there's not much activity on this thread, but I thought I'd check in anyway since I'm a newbie. I'm a little more than a hour from the Idaho border, so I should probably check in with the Idaho club too.

I just received by first Tele today............a sunburst Baja. I'm a 100% green newbie, so I won't be playing Buckaroo for a few months (years?) but I'm still very happy with my pretty new toy.

Heading back for the summer in a week. Is Josephine County gonna be blanketed in smoke again this year?

I honestly couldn't answer that, as I'm on the opposite side of the state. But if I had to guess, I'd say yes..............especially as hot and dry as this year is shaping up to be.

Yup. Me too. Near Lone Pine School, a little further down.

Love it here. Not many other musicians around, though.
