I just ordered a set of Don Mare Hayrides for my Fender Rustic Ash Tele. It has an American Standard bridge in it.

Do I really need to also get a Glendale:
    - American Standard Blackguard "no-cut" bridge-plate chrome plated and
    - "Screamin'59's" Intone Cutting Edge set /three cold rolled steel 1/4" un-plated???

Given your user name, I think the answer is yes.

The ball is in your court. With a "rustic ash" Tele, it would probably fit the motif a little better.

Your call, I would like it better. Got the funds for it? Glendale usually isn't inexpensive.

    Hey that's really cool!

Of course; You don't need those extras. But you want them, right?

Each his own. I run with alinco 2s' and 5s' in the same bridge to eliminate some ice pick and steel saddles to get some back. I know it sounds redundant.

The Glendale will look pretty cool. The American Standard will give you better intonation and easier playing.

I would go with the pickups first, you never want to make too many changes at once, and you may be happy after the pickups, and ultimately save your self several hundred dollars.
