Goalie is possibly played by the British comedian Simon Brodkin?

Does a bunch of different characters including Lee ‘Nelsey’ Nelson, a total chav...

Won a comedy award at Edinburg Fringe Festival a few years back...

I met him after a comedy show once where I sat in the front row and coped a fair amount of flack... super nice guy!

Oh yeah, I remember this... has Paul Kay in it... the guy who played the short lived Dennis Pennis... and now has a semi regular spot in Game of Thrones... which means he’s probably going to die soon... Or did he die at the end of Season 7... hard to keep up...

I know it’s not football... Just trying to bridge the gap... there’s really not enough Tele talk in here for my liking

Congratulation to England, a souvereign victory. Russia vs. Croatia was a thriller. The Russians really fighted for their life. They were a honourable loser in the end. Congrats to Croatia. I would have loved to see the german team fight like that.

Every keeper has been scored on. That's why they need a steady mind. If a striker misses a shot, the score doesn't change. If a keeper misses, it does.

And like Petr Cech says, win or lose you go back to practice on Monday.

Too sad, but we beat expectations by two rounds. Good one, boys!

Now really make history, Croatia: Beat France!

Congratulations Croatia. They played a blinder to turn it around and they were supposed to be knackered! It didn't look like that.

But well done England and Southgate as well, for restoring pride in the team and giving us some hope!

Gareth Southgate brought class (and style) back to soccer in a way that's been missing for far too long. Kudos to Southgate for bringing England as far as he did with encouragement and fair play!

Unlike Luka Modric who looks drugged every day.

Ahh, well done. Bit deflated here.

Congratulations. Now, tell your boys to stop dissing England and get ready for France. The French are not going to underestimate them after the England match!

I hope that whichever team wins, it s not going to be chaotic in the streets. When their team wins, people go full japan here, jump on police cars, burn cars, the usual mayhem and so on...

Edit : that s going to be a double crazy week end because we have july, 14th, and the soccer final the next day. Did i mention it was friday the 13 th, as well ?

All we need now is a full moon.

"full japan"? What is that? As far as I know, the Japanese are just about the least likely people on Earth to act like a basketball team in Detroit just won the NBA championship... <scratching head>

If it ever gets in the dictionnary, you saw it here 1st !

They did go crazy in Paris last night. We just had lots of car horns and people breaking into tents here in sunny Bayeux.

Hard to know wether to be elated (4th!) or deflated (4th!) as an England fan. There is a sense had we scraped through to the final then France would have beaten us 6-0 so maybe it's better this way.
