Couldn't be two more different pitchers tonight. I expect the giant strike zone to make it tough on hitters.

    Go Cubs!

Go Dodgers! And don't go extra innings. Me and the band go on as soon as you get through.

Wow, I can't believe the Yankees let The Indians tie it up. Well, maybe they didn't "let" them, the Indians just did it.

Still knotted up in the 11th.

Has to hurt for the Yankees. Congrats Chip - one to go.

Cubbies need three outs to steal a win.

They just showed the replay of the winning run scoring and you can clearly see Indians players crossing in front of him and celebrate in the infield before he hit home. Can the Yankees protest that?

    I doubt it.

    Cubs 1-0. Didn't expect a W tonight!

Nor did I early on. Didn't think they were passing the eyeball test even though it remained a 0-0 game.

But they are among the hotter teams right now. I see them winning this series and playing for the pennant three years in row.

In my entire life as a Cubs fan, I never thought I'd say that! Go Cubs, go!

I know it. I had to explain to my son that I don't have the same old desperate feeling that usually came from the very rare playoff appearance. There's a noticeable lack of pressure compared to years past and its undoubtedly an advantage for them. Especially considering who they are facing and may face going forward.

Completely agree with you Hawk. I remember about ten years ago when they made the playoffs back-to-back years and got swept out of the NLDS both times. There was a lot of dread watching those games. It wasn't really enjoyable. Now we can all relax and watch them have some fun.

And what a fun group this is! I hope they keep the core together for a long time to come.

I personally think they're in a really good spot to make the World Series again. Obviously, we don't want to get ahead of ourselves as fans, but of the NL teams they were the hottest in September (since the All-Star game even.) The Diamondbacks had a hot stretch but they cooled off just as quick. We might have the "weakest" record of the remaining teams, but I think they're the hottest, the most relaxed, and the best coached.

Well since the Red Sox seem doomed, I'm all for Cleveland and Francona.

For years I've enjoyed myself, and consoled myself too, watching so many former Mariners in the playoffs. Starting with Junior, A-Rod, and Randy Johnson, they've let out some doozies.
