    Hey Mike,

I think this is very cool - I want to give each of these a spin, cuz it might take me out of my comfort zone now and then, and it gives us a selection of grooves to choose from.

    Thanks for your efforts!

PS> do they post any BPM's with these when you dig em up?

Well, let´s see where we will end :))

Thank you very much, Mike, for your commitment!

Yup these have become more fun to watch and participate in each month. I like having a good variety up front to pick from. Should be able to pick something fun among them.. Can't wait to get home to hear them!!!!

Do those who want the BPM use click tracks?

I'm also curious why do they need the bpm too! Boys, don't leave us out of the loop :p

I use the BPM info to create colored "regions" in the sequencer view of my DAW, telling me when a chord change is coming. Oddly enough, Reason does not have the ability to create "markers" of when a change occurs, but I can cut the loop into sections and make them different colors, which alerts me that a change is coming. Having the BPM helps me make the region lengths accurate.

It's certainly not a deal breaker for me if I don't have 'em. It's just my normal workflow. I do a fair amount of Internet session stuff for friends, and having the BPM helps me line up my parts correctly on the grid. Force of habit, I guess.

More info than you needed, right?? LOL

No, that makes sense. I just note the measure number on a piece of paper if I can't feel it.

I need BPM info so that I can accurately edit them if I need/like to. As Slidedude points out ques and markers are easier as well.... Its's just easier for me when 1 falls on 1 every measure.... :)

All of these are really nice backing tracks!
    Great job Mellencaster!
I've got to get back into the groove ( been battling some tendonitis) take care of some other priorities (aka projects) and get on these.
You techy guys are way ahead of me with your midi and mojo and whatever:D
I plan to plug in, wail away and see what happens. But not right away.
Still need some time to recover.
Can't wait to hear what you guys do though. You've all been doing a killer job at these. Even though I don't always post and respond I do listen.
Everyone who has participated has brought something very cool and unique.
    You should all be proud!
