A Mission Engineering VM-1 Volume Pedal was offered on Facebook for $55. We agreed on $50, met with the guy, had a little chat, and parted.

It feels and weighs like a tank! I like the feel, I like the sweep, but... there seems to be a little but not so audible sound at full heel zero position. Is this how it is?

Chain was guitar> VM-1 Vol Pedak> Boss GT-100> Headrush FRFR

Disengage the rack (straight gear) from the pinion (round volume pot gear. Turn the volume pot to the full off position. With the pedal treadle in the full off position re-engage the rack to the pinion. Replace the rack spring loop. Reinstall the cover. I hope this does it for you. I have to do this every now and then on the Mission exp pedal...
