Born and raised in Charlotte, living in the low country now. You guys should have a jam. We had one in Charlotte back in 2006. That sure was a great time.

I've lived in Rock Hill, SC, just across the border from Charlotte, for the last seven years, but I lived in NC for nearly thirty years before that, and went to college at UNC-Chapel Hill. Most of my family lives in the Asheville area.

Shelby guy here. Play with with some old buddies and we try anything that we think that we can handle. Everything from R&R, country, jazz and blues is in our repertoire. Open to playing with others especially if bluegrass and music like the kind mentioned above is involved.

Born and raised in western NC but live in Charlotte. Escape to Ashe Co. often to remind me what real living is about.

    More NC musicians

And Warren Haynes, one of the greatest and my all time favorite. Can't forget about Audley Freed either.

Lived in Charlotte as a youngin'. I was banned for life from South park Mall for skateboarding in it. Kicked out of Cotillion for who-knows-what.
Was in a fist fight at A.G. on the last day of school. I was a bad seed. Don't think they'd recognize me now, maybe only by my rapid command of an old stand-up at the Circle K, the great arcade game known as "Kung Fu Master", possibly still glowing faintly in the foggy window, as it slowly shrinks into the curve of Providence Rd.

In the summers, sometimes Boone, N.C.

I carried a stiletto to Eastover everyday, perhaps to fend off the mirrored-sunglasses of commerce, or to have a spring-loaded rebuttal for the nice-n-shiny all around me, the contrast to the dark howls of home. It's All Right, Ma, I'm sorry for splashing the good old-folks at Foxcroft pool with my perfected preacher-seat, designed for maximum and uniform coverage of all nearby.

The swans were there at the funeral home last time when I came back around.

I found a gold ring under the diner counter at Eckerd's Drugstore one time. It had a big black onyx in the center.
