I'm a Raleigh guy here! Play guitar, bass, keys and vocals. Just about anything. Mostly cover bands, but some Irish stuff too. Just started an Irish band in Raleigh...but then had to take a leave to do some business traveling. Hope to pick back up with them when I'm all done.

Here in Raleighwood and Irish as well. I'd like to hear the band. Let us know when you're back in action?

Im in Greenville, play guitar, bass, drums, vocals, anything I can. Had to give up the band a couple years ago when my lil' ones came around. I still make time to play everyday for at least an hour or so. I am trying to get back together with a couple guys now, but finding people who actualy want to play music and not just drink themselves stupid is proving quite a challenge. Must be the college town mentality?

RevMike, so what kind of Irish band are you talking about, traditional, more contemporary, irish influenced rock (is there such a thing)? Anyway, sounds cool!

Another Raleigh Tele player here. These days I play in my church praise band. Not much time, or energy, to do anything else.

I was not born in The South, but I got here as fast as I could.

Asheville checking in, and with a shout out to FM 88.7 WNCW.

Cool dude, will do. Not sure when that will be. I'm up and back between Raleigh and NYC for at least a month.

Asheville. Mostly acoustic blues & ragtime & old time music until 2003 when I got my first Tele, & even that didn't really open up until 2007 when I replaced a tiny Frontman amp with an old Blues Deluxe. Now the acoustics (& fiddle & banjo & mandolin) don't get played as much they used to. Also have hacked around on bass.

Charlotte Native - now near the Lake. Not many of us around anymore.

Give me an old Tele, tubes, and a cold beer and I am a very happy man.

Rock-A-Tonkin'-Bluesy-Grassbilly just about sums up my playing style.
