Noisy pedal

    Just picked up a used Medusa from Guitar Center. Looks brand new, not a scratch on it. However it is extremely hissy. Anybody else run into this? I have it on battery just fyi.

    Sorry I just saw your reply now. Yes, Red Witch. I was testing the pedal so there was nothing other then a guitar, pedal, and amp.

    Try swapping out the "usual suspects" like the cables, power source, amp and guitar to see where the trouble is located. Sometimes it's a combination of factors.

    I had a similar problem with a new-to-me used Moen Jimi Zero pedal last night. There was a distinct clicking noise when it was on the One Spot or battery but it went away when I put it on a separate power supply.
