I suspect I am one of many strat-talk folks that signed up today since s-t has been down for a couple of days. I know many ST members are also members here and TDPRI has always been spoken of fondly, so it was as good an excuse as any to come on in and check it out. I've been playing guitar for a little over 30 years...15 of those years more seriously. A strat was my first "real" electric guitar. I got a tele in the form of a G&L ASAT Tribute a couple of years ago. I was quite surprised at how different the tele sounded from the strat! It's one of my favorite guitars to play along with my Gibson LPs and my PRS CE 24. Over the past 5 years, I've played in various bands and projects. Currently I'm in a 5 piece cover band. Like any other guitar forum, I'm sure y'all love pictures . Here's one of my ASAT. Olympic white was always a favorite guitar color for me, so it was prefect when I found this. I also happen to prefer the headstock shape of the G&L from the Fender tele...sorry .
