I finally grabbed one.
Reminds me of Vince Gill’s guitar.
Good stuff. Have heard great things about the Classic Vibe Teles. Hope this one lives up to the reputation.
I completely set the guitar up to my liking and it's a ridiculous player for the money. The frets are perfect. The tuning pegs do what they're supposed to do and the bridge feels really good. The screws are a little grabby after lowering the barrels, but I'll work on those later.
I knocked a ton of the poly off the back of the neck and fretboard. I'm not a fan of the plastic look. It's hard to see in the picture, but the fret board almost looks like roasted maple now. The back of the neck definitely does.
I left the headstock shinny on both the front and the back. I'm not really a fan of the thick shine on the body either but overall I really, really dig this guitar.
Junk. Send it to me I will play it for you since it is junk and all.
Really though I sort of dislike Squires. But I can find cheaper or higher in price guitars that cost more. That will make me happier.
Congrats on the fine guitar.
I always avoided Squier until the CV models came out 8-10 years ago (guessing). I've owned several now. Much better than the sub $800 MIMs imo.
Buy'm cheap, stack'm deep!
Verrrrry Nice... How Cool!
Do those still come with a pine body?
Held one in my hands yesterday... Yes still pine. The one in the shop was pretty heavy, though.
I want one of those as well as the double-bound Customs!!!
