Gotch vintage turners, mirror pickguard, neck is flamed maple by Musikraft, medium jumbo, medium C profile. The body was bought on Ebay (5 lbs) with hardware and Texas specials. I almost bought the body from Stratophere but it was 7 lbs for their body so I took a chance on someone else. The guitar is light as heck! I'm delighted.....

Nice flamey neck with that particular shade of blonde, is mighty purty! May I suggest a cream white ‘guard?

That's a great suggestion and I may do that look next. Right now I'm sticking with the mirror guard for a while, but the cream guard will the a nice touch down the road... :)

Oh I got the feet in the pickguard! I had to take the picture over a couple of times as I struggled to hold the ipad the right way to get only the guitar....it was a challenge!

Well thank you for that! (sorry - feet do nothing for me...) That is often a pet peeve around here with Craigslist ads.

How does it play - or are you still setting it up / letting it settle in? It sounds like it was just "completed".

I would put a black guard on it if I removed the mirror, but hey - that's just me.

Well, black has been "done." There's so many with black that I wanted something different and the mirror guard just has a cool look to it. It plays amazing, I really love the Texas special pickups but more pointedly, the neck is incredible. I'm going to be doing a Jazzmaster build next and will get the body from Warmoth and another neck by Musikraft. They do good work...

I thought that on first site as well. But it ain't mine either. ;)

Mirror guard can be additionally functional as well.

For gigging, have a spot aimed where you can get to so you can 'reflect' how you feel about the loud drunks directly into their faces. ;)

A tortoise pickguard might look nice, too.

What's the radius on that? And compound?

It looks even more curved than 7.25 up by the headstock.

    Photos are deceiving I guess!

    To my old eyes anyway.
