Y'all this is Dorothy, Dorothy, this is y'all.
Just in time for Tele Tuesday!
Dorothy sure is a looker! Enjoy!
Dorothy as in Wizard of OZ, red sparkly shoes?
Very cute! Enjoy!
True tele. Im sure you're happy.
She's home now and there's no place like home. Congrats! She looks awesome!!!
You need a pair...
GIVE IT BACK TO ME !!!!!!
Wow man ! that's a tele with some.. yeah you got it ...
Even though it's a period-correct double-bound (I guess), I'm going to imagine her with a chunkier fat C neck.
I'm in love.
What's the color called? Candy Apple Sparkle Red?
I don't typically name guitars but this one just begged for it. It's so fitting.
It's a 1960 NOS, 9.5" 6105 60s oval C neck. Not as thin as some, I don't love thin necks but this one feels great. .79 to .93, I'm used to a chunky C .90-.99 but I feel like the string spacing on this makes up for it somehow. Who knows, I try not to get caught up in specs, if it works it works.
I've always wanted a sparkle, always wanted a CS, always had an affinity for doublebounds and you only live once right?
Dorothy is a beauty! Congrats
If I were to ever order a CS, it would be VERY similar, just with that 90-99 neck. And perhaps a different sparkle color - I have a couple CARs already. But really, this is one of the guitars in my head. How did you know?
That is an absolutely amazing guitar! Wish I had a red sparkle with a maple board!
This is simply called red sparkle. It's really hard deciding on a color. I like gold, silver, blue, green, red, black, not a real fan of champagne or purple.
Very nice! Dorothy is a very apt name as well
