    Hi All,
Just wanted to share my excitement, I recently was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. It's a rare situation when the guitar of your dreams comes up at the right price.

I recently lost my mother and as a tribute to her I decided I would buy something that will remind me of her and have her close . I jumped on Gbase to see if my 35 year dream of owning a Blackguard Tele was possible.

To my surprise there was one for sale at the right price, from the right person.
I struck a deal (may I say he was a very generous seller) and last Friday became the new custodian of a guitar I never thought I'd ever see , let alone own.

I can't stop playing her, she is as good as the legend that surrounds her and her siblings. This guitar is not going to be locked away in a vault. I've already played my first gig with her and the tone through my 5F4 Super is amazing, The fattest tone I have ever heard from a Telecaster.

The only problem is , She's not a Telecaster.

I would like to introduce you to Bebby, (My Mothers name was Beverley but her grand children called her Bebby) Every time I play her , I play for my mum, I'd give it all up to have her back, but we know that's not possible, so instead I honoured her with this beautiful Blackguard

    I hope you like "Bebby"

I'm sorry about you losing your Mum Watto, that's a great way to keep her memory alive, and what a cool guitar. I did the same when my Mum passed away, she left me a small sum of money so I bought a guitar with it too.

    Jeez, that guitar just oozes.......

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I wanted to buy something special, not just throw the inheritance on the mortgage or something like that. It was my wife's suggestion and I thank her for it.
I'll treasure this guitar for the rest of my life
She's very happy hanging out with her vintage brothers and sisters. I'm a sucker for a pre CBS strat,
But this beauty is beyond my wildest dreams

WOW. Way to go with the purchase! Wish it were under better circumstances, but at least you definitely have something to keep her memory close to you. Very cool guitar mate

A stunning instrument. I'm sure your mother would have approved. I can't think of a better way to keep her memory close to you.
