The Nashville body had the contoured heel plate.

This new setup is much brighter. Feels a bit lighter. It’s very sproingy. Also previously my middle position was out of phase. I added a ground wire to the neck pup so I’m in phase now. I’m pretty pleased with the way these two pickups sound together. I may possibly add a phase switch down the road. 225962D4-DA7F-41D8-AA7B-FF0F08450AF5.jpeg 25ABE24F-7A51-40BD-93B7-67244C2AE77C.jpeg BFD9CEB5-01F5-435A-B2D9-A181EC0FBD63.jpeg F6C2FCBA-0D64-4470-A462-8F9048B26AA5.jpeg BFD9CEB5-01F5-435A-B2D9-A181EC0FBD63.jpeg

Looks great, you could probably get that Daphne Blue off with a micromesh pad if it bothers you. Did you notice any difference in how it sounds with the new body? Is it the same wood as the old one?

I actually like the blue on there for sentimental reasons.
The Jazzcaster body is swamp ash. The Nashville is alder.
It sounds and feels like a completely different guitar.

When you hit a big open chord you can feel the body vibrate. It’s acoustically louder as well.
I liked it before the swap fine but I’ve been craving the Jazzcaster style.
Maybe I’ll build up the blue one again someday if I’m not forced to sell it.
