Very nice! I had a ‘97 710 and it was a great guitar, I just gravitated back to my first luv, Gibsons.

IMO those ‘90s Taylor necks (before the NT necks) are about as nice as a flattop neck could be. I also had a couple ‘95 510s and they were also very smooth and fast playing. What with my arthritic old hands I might have to hunt one down again someday.

I own this same model, same year!

It's Taylor's answer to the Martin dreadnought and IMO their best-sounding guitar. Also easier to play. The action is set up a little lower right off the assembly line, you have to adjust some Martins to that point (for instance, the D-28) because they're set up higher for bluegrass.

They play great right out of the box. And I've never had an acoustic like this that was better for playing leads. I don't do much of that, but when I do it's easy on this guitar.

Those 800 series Taylor’s and the jumbo 12’s they used to make are pretty much the only thing I really liked from them.

    Especially the dreads like yours.

    Very nice.
