This is a custom design Tele-variant inspired by my wife (Grace) and built by Steve McElhenny of Maximum Guitar Works in Golden, CO.

*Tummy cut and contoured neck heel
    *Maple cap
    *Cream binding
    *Coral pink finish
    *Bigsby and Mastery bridge
    *Peter Florence pickups, Dano set
*3-way switch, stacked volume/tone, passive bass rolloff
*Maple neck with titanium reinforcement bars
    *Rosewood fretboard
    *Cream dots with aluminum accents
*Tilted headstock with volute and veneer accents
    *Hipshot open gear locking tuners
    *Unbleached bone nut

That's pretty cool, looks like a reverend kind of. How did your wife inspire if you don't mind me asking?

That guitar looks great! I really like the little details like the outline around the fret dots and also the outline around the front and back of the headstock. Is that just a thin layer of wood sandwiched in the headstock?

This is one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen! I love the color and all the fine details. How do you like the Mastery bridge, and how does it play??

I've always been an assman, and the backside of that guitar only confirms why. Stunning.

Funny you should mention Reverend--you're not the first. I met Steve thanks to our mutual appreciation of all things Reverend. Who knows? I may have been subconsciously influenced by the Reverend design.

My wife often gets attached to my guitars, and gets mad at me for selling or trading them. Once she even jokingly asked if I'd get rid of her if I found something better. :D

I told her I would get a guitar named after her, in her favorite coral pink color, and I'd hand it down to our son.

I was really looking for a tele with more fluid (graceful?) lines. I got to work closely with the builder in the design. To say I'm very happy with how it turned out is an understatement.

It plays and sounds as good as it looks. It's a much better guitar than I deserve.

I dig the Mastery. I really prefer the ashtray bridge to the jaguar-style bridges that usually go on a Bigsby-fied tele. My options were basically Mastery or Callaham.

I can't get over the small appointments and details, yet how non-gaudy it looks. If the top was a nice blue or green, I'd probably never put it down.

That thing is exquisite, man! I love it and I don't usually go for non-Strat/Tele/LP body types.

Exactly. He made another guitar, with a sandwich inside the sandwich. I'll see if I can find a pic. He is very meticulous.

    Anything is possible!;)

Thanks for posting Andrew...but why didn't you post the video we did? You getting shy?

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone.

Here is a picture of the "sandwich inside a sandwich" as Bakertwang called it. Basically a 9 layer bean dip...except made with wood and veneer!

Bass roll off is the way to go.
And thanks for inspiring countless guitarists on exactly how to pull off their next aquisition, too.
" I'm going to name it after you, darling, so's you can hand it down to our son"
    Brilliant.

HAHA! I think the quote from my wife was "How thoughtful of you to get yourself something nice for me!"

    That guitar is gorgeous.
The level of talent involved in the build boggles my mind.
Now, we need to hear it.
