Hey all, Been talking about it for weeks now on here. Finally finished it and just rocked it for two hours. Amazingly/surprisingly it plays incredibly. Couldn't be happier. Here are the specs: Thinline knotty pine body Tonerider Hot Classic neck and bridge pickups. Wilkinson Compensated 3-saddle bridge Tuners off a '99 MIM Strat Canadian maple neck, Chunky C shape, abalone inlays, medium jumbo frets Bone nut CTS pots CRL 3-position switch Rest of the misc. hardware is all Fender. Finish is Miniwax Polyurethane over Bulls Eye Shellac/sealer. To keep it simple, I went with standard 3-position wiring. Although I've only played with them for a couple of hours, the Toneriders are very much rock and roll pickups, which is what I was looking for. Something between my MIA Standard and my Cabronita. Sound good clean, but they really shine when I crank up the distortion and dig in. Not sure about the weight, but the body was 3.9 lbs when I started, so it's fairly lightweight. Was looking for the down and dirty Southwestern look. Hope I got that.
