An Orangewood Echo, to be exact.

Wasn't even looking, but was rather killing time in a local pawn shop after my cardio swim, waiting for a health food store to open up next door.

Picked her up off the wall, and realized that
    a. She was brand new
    and
    b. Played and sounded like a dream

All guitars, in the store this day, were 10% off.

$225 out the door after tax, with the factory soft case and all the proper case candy, including truss rod tool and the pick guard (which you can choose to add later if you like).

Turns out this pawn shop has gotten into ordering and then selling brand new guitars as well as a nice selection of used axes. (And, of course, gold, jewelry, ammunition, and LOTS AND LOTS of guns, rifles and shotguns.)

    My kind of place!
    :)

The price, when ordering from Orangewood directly, is $295, so I don't know if I'm just living right, or what...

Great find! I have the all lami Victoria and after changing the strings and replacing the bridge pins with brass, it sounds better than my all solid wood Recording King. Sustain is great! The only other lami guitar I have played that sounds as good is my old 70's Yamaha

    I wasn't either.

First one I ever saw, and it plays really nice.
    Nice big sound.

That's a great looking guitar Sparky2, and a pretty dang good price for a solid top too!

Play the stink out of it.

Nice score! I've been hearing a lot about these Orangewood guitars.. Will have to check them out sometime. I didn't even know that orangewood was a good tone wood.

Good score! It's amazing how good guitars are for the money compared to some of the horrible cheap guitars I played when I was starting out. Thank you, robot overlords!

The name reminds me of a joke I heard that I shouldn't repeat here... I'll just say that Cheetos were involved.
