Incredible. Thanks for sharing and congratulations.
Man, what a guitar...Sounds to match the looks! What were you playing through, if you dont mind my asking?
Also, wanted to say I loved the first batch of demos. Very tasteful playing, particularly in the middle position video. You've got a nice Mark Knopfler thing going on, I think. What amp are you playing through? Was it straight to amp or are there pedals being used?
Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate it
I`m playing through my Swart AST. Using two drive pedals, first a fairfield barbershop overdrive ( this is my "always on" pedal - just buy it, I guarantee that you won`t regret it ). Then I use a Durham Mucho Boosto for that extra gain. Both these pedals were on all the time. The reverb is an old Hermida. Tremolo is Stigtronics - one of the best simple trem`s out there!
Ok, here`s one more video showing the middle position
Wo. Fabulous. That's all I can say.
Thanks a lot PJ
I've never played a real black or white guard vintage Tele but from all the video clips I've heard, I prefer the sound of mid-late '50s Teles myself.
Just had to share one more pic, hope it`s ok
Got this killer `55 Lp JR in a trade a couple of weeks ago. Incredible guitar!!
2 x `55
Tone & playing style reminds me of Duke Levine, are you a fan? Wonderful on both counts....congrats! Especially liked the clean middle sound...nirvana!
Beautiful playing MichaelAa. Fabulous tone too. Congratulations.
Duke is fantastic.
Beautiful guitar, beautiful playing. Pickups sound awesome - all 3 positions. thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words guys! Really appreciate it
Sure, big fan of Duke, love his tone and playing! Extremely tasteful!
fantastic! congrats! she perfect!
Thanks a lot for the kind words bacongrease
Yes, tasteful playing and tasteful purchasing. Thanks for posting them.
That Tele sounds killer in the videos. Maybe you could do something similar with the jr, comparing both.
Agreed, a beautiful sounding and looking vintage fender.
This picture has freaked me out a bit, it would appear we have similar tastes, I have a 57 Esquire and a 55 LP junior and I also play through a Swart AST, I know it's just a coincidence but I thought it was worth mentioning.
