I saw one in GC the other day when I was buying strings. The color looked nice in person; I was tempted to play it but am trying to show some restraint. Congrats, that’s a cool guitar.

You mentioned it has character for days, so that means the owner has to play up to its standards. ;)

Fender is often accused of being unoriginal, but I just love it that someone there said, "you know what, let's do a new roadworn. And you know what, let's make it . . . purple."

And that someone calling the shots said . . . "yeah, let's."

Brother, I have to kind of take that "but it's Purple" statement back a bit! Because, I feel in love with Zakk's Purple Wylde SG,,

Fun drinking game: take a shot every time there's a pinch harmonic. If you can remember you're name after the video, you win \m/

I like it! Fender calls the neck finish "Road Worn Urethane." How would you describe the back of the neck?

Thanks Hear2learn!! Unfortunately I’m not the right one to ask..haha..I do t know the correct terminology for the neck finish..certainly not glossy or “sticky@ or anything like that..smooth and satiny though for sure!! Sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer!
