B0A4E85E-FFEC-4271-9E83-12DAB6034A7F.jpeg im luckily in a phase in which I am fascinated by really low-cost solid body electrics. Since it’s a hobby I figure if a guitar looks and feels and sounds good to me and it’s really low price — then that’s pretty great. I recently got a 1993 Korean Squier Strat that is supposed to be junk and it’s really cool-looking, plays great and makes nice tone and it was $140 at Sam Ash.

I’ve been playing Squier Strats and Teles as much as possible since then and some seem great and some are junk.

At GC today I saw this Bullet and really didn’t think I could possibly like it but I really do. $149 and unlike the Korean Strat it’s brand new.

Odd — it doesn’t say Telecaster anywhere on it. And it’s not on the Squier website but I figured that out - it’s a GC FSR.

I’m sure a lot of you know all about it. I played several Affinity Teles ($199) And those I did not like.

I’ll post something short of me playing it— it won’t be good but it’ll give an idea.

Nice. Mine is on the way, it's been sitting at UPS in Wyoming, Mi since Friday night. What's the body thickness on these?

I was at California Vintage Guitars and Amp and they had brand-new Custom Shop Sea Foam Green Teles on the wall and there were not any more lovely than my FSR Bullet.

I have two Gretsch Jim Dandy acoustic guitars. I think they cost $180. They are wonderful instruments in every way.

I think these are thinner than standard telecaster bodies.

I also want one, but I want the competition orange, put a bigsby on it and put some bling gold hardwares on it, and viola!

You're gonna mount a viola to it?
