Yeah, Belichick's crew does their homework. I suspect they're the type of team where a win like this sort of feels like a loss to them, and it will motivate them to play harder against the Jets next week.

They play the Jets next, right? So he's got like 17 days to fix the D.

Man, Brady's one of the greats and all, but it baffles me how anyone watching the 4th quarter of this particular game could think Tom Brady on 4th and 3 is a sure thing. Usually I'd say yes, high percentage that he'll throw a quick out route to get the yards, something Brady excels at, but man, he was under pressure all night. Plus, their kicker Ghostkowski is great. I think Bill is as smart as everyone says; maybe he has faith in his golden boy under center, but he put his emotions aside and does the math - a FG puts Tampa out of FG range for sure.

I dunno, maybe Tom could have ended the whole game with a QB sneak though. :D (Not likely.)

Ben Roethlisberger has me going from "Please don't retire yet!" to "Well, maybe it's time." 5 INTs? Multiple pick-6's? With the highest paid offense in the NFL? Maybe it's time to start training the new guy.

^ If it makes you feel any better, those last two interceptions shouldn't count - they were in desperation mode. Jags looked pretty good grinding.

In the ''did h#ll freeze over?" department, the Dolphins won!

Ok, maybe I'm wrong about the Browns and the positive rebuild underway there. They looked awful yesterday!!

Giants, oh my Giants. Unwatchable. Gallman is the real deal at least.

Now the Chiefs, they look solid from top to bottom. They don't make many mistakes and they have enough weapons on both sides of the ball to create matchup problems which they exploit. Alex Smith is looking like Joe Montana.

And yes, Good for Mr. Jerry Jones, his Cowboys lost again. tery, I assume that's what you were referring to?
