Watch me pull a rabbit outa my hat!
I've been a Chiefs fan all my life, grew up so close to Arrowhead we could hear the crowds on Sunday. I'm always wary though due to the years and years of playoff failures. The NE win was not a surprise to me, I was telling people all week at work the Chiefs would win. Long season though, we'll see how it plays out. 3-0 at this point and looking good.
Let's go KC!
As Crazy Horse said: "my lands are where my people lie buried". Go Chiefs!!
Oh yes, I nearly forgot, my Giants really suck.
"The Bears Jordan Howard took a beating and kept coming back. That's the kind of guy you open the checkbook for," said the Steelers blog author.
I got to do this. Love going to sports events, hadn't been here and as my grandson is a pretty good linebacker right now he sure dug it.
Yeah, Lions lost a game most thought they'd handled. But I was on the 20 yard line & wasn't sure he got in at the call...and I love Tate. Great game to be at.
Week 3 and only two undefeated teams left, KC and Atlanta. WTF?
Sadly, we have come to expect it. We are used to losing the close ones. I bet 90% of Texans fans would have went for it on 4th down rather than the field goal we settled for. At that point we lead by two and further running of the clock or a potential touch down seemed a better option. We had that feeling that Brady would do just what he did.
About the stupid penalties, most were earned expect one. The Off Pass Interference on our Tight End was no more aggregious than the push off Gronk got away with. That is why when you play teams like the Pats, you have to not allow penalties to be part of the outcome.
I can say it was nice that the Texans finally competed against the Patriots for a change.
I'm really tired of the NFL circus already......I'm done this year. Good luck to Atlanta and all the teams kneeling to help whatever it is they are helping by kneeling.
I'm boycotting the whole lot and avoiding advertisers products. NASCAR gets my money this year...
P.S. Nascar sucks.
Go Pack. What a game yesterday!
I used to be a little interested in pro football 35 years ago, but not in recent history. This week I've been reminded why.
I was really torn but after watching the Sunday night game where all the emphasis was on the wrong subject I may just be done with the NFL.
The announcers did not even bring it up, I mean, how does D Carr rate $125M over the next FIVE years ($70M Guaranteed) where Cousins gets shafted over the franchise tag again... yes he will make $20M this year, but tear an ACL and you get nada on your next contract...
Maybe I will just go build guitars on Sundays...
Has anyone noticed how many people have started following turtles?
I might have a contrary position for a debate that can't be discussed here anyway.
Anyhow, several close games Rams/49er's; Falcons/Lions; Colts/Browns; Patriots/Texans; Eagles/Giants; Packers/Bengals.
A few head scratchers - what's up with the Broncos and the Steelers? I guess your defense can't win them all...
Saints, Chiefs and Redskins looked pretty good.
It's just a game in a free country.
Mister, you got a way with words...particularly nouns and adjectives and the order you use em'!
Deeply disappointed in the Ravens getting blown out by the Jaguars.
Even worse is the politization of the game by the players and broadcasters. That's intolerable. Considering cancelling my cable TV.
