I saw this last week when I went to my favorite local music store, Revolve Music in Bartlett TN.
Jeff who owns the place is a great guy to deal with, if you're ever in the Memphis area check out the store, he gets a lot of cool and reasonable used gear and is also a dealer for PRS, G&L and some really nice acoustic guitars among other things.

I bought a PRS S2 Std 22 satin tobacco sunburst from him last year, it was lightly used and IMO a great guitar.

I saw this one and just really liked the color, he said it was a very limited run , it's a bit more teal than the blue that it looks in some of the pictures, I think the last picture of the peghead is close to what it looks like in person.
I traded in my satin sunburst S2 and got it.

It's very light and resonant like the other one I had, the neck is very comfortable, and it plays great and sounds great, the pickups sound good to me both in full humbucking mode and split to single coil.

It's been a LONG time since I owned a 24 fret guitar, the last one was a 70s Gibson Midnight Special L6S, all maple and it was heavy! had jumbo frets and hot Bill Lawrence designed humbuckers. I traded that one in for a 66 Strat that I wish I still owned ... but I digress.

I know there are not a lot of PRS fans on this board, but I just wanted to share, I like it, a lot!

    I like it.

Ibanez made a Blazer in the 80's that Adrian Belew endorsed. The blue is very close to the old Blazer. I love that color!

I'm going to get a picture of it in daylight, it's a bit more teal, but close to the old Blazer / Roadstar color.

Like it, like it a lot!! I think the S2 Standards are a very good value-for-money guitars, and very nicely made indeed. Great colour too!

I haven't seen any of the other limited edition color S2s in person , the gold S2 looks cool! But your S2 has birds, mine has dots.

I asked Jeff at Revolve where I bought the guitar, he said it's called Aquamarine Firemist. And he said that PRS didn't make too many in this color.

Dots are what the birds leave on the fretboard.

"Dots are what the birds leave on the fretboard."

Hmmm , so how do you explain the dots on Gibson, Fender, and other guitars that don't have birds?
