An Electro Harmonix Attack Decay box is expected to arrive before we roll up the side walks tonight
It's a tricky little pedal that takes an expression pedal which can be applied to several parameters at once,
which includes that famous Electro Harmonix Fuzzy-Wuzzy Muff sound.
something to put in front of the gonkolizer and or the feedback pedal.:D

This is one of those pedals that wouldn't get enough use to justify adding to my board, yet I want it!
    Looking forward to your impressions.

I got one a couple of weeks ago. I haven't gotten too deep into it yet, but there are a lot of things you can do with this thing. And the built in fuzz alone is worth the price of admission. I went to the EHX video on YouTube and wrote down all the settings for each example stopping the video to do it. There's another newer video that I haven't watched yet that gets into the deeper settings more. I'll work with what I have now for a while first.

If you come up with some cool settings please share them.

    damnnit!

Made me smile watching the propaganda video. Looks like a month's worth of fun just exploring all the options, including the effects send & return, etc.

Enjoy to the extent permitted by law.

this is my first impression , the pedal is certainly not your DS-1 one knob wonder, no no no no,
Lots and lots of different combinations of all parameters. the godsend is having 3 program slots to remember 3 patches, I wouldn't go out of the house with it without the programer, and yes I can see using this enough to become familiar enough with it to jam live using it. that day for me is a long time off.
It sounds good, not noisy, it does basic envelope generator functions as I had hope with lottsa' time on each attack and decay, It does have a programmable fx loop Which I have yet to explore.
It's not on of those pieces of gear that leaves regretting the purchase , those guys at EHX did their homework. happy:twisted:

Perhaps a new Forum page is appropriate given the possibility of an extended amount of tips tricks and possible variations this pedal presents

a brutally honest confession; I got into electric guitar not because I was fascinated by the sound of electrics , I was absolutely smitten at the time with my 30's national steel body guitar I learn to play the basics of Son House on.
I got into electrics so the I could manipulate and play with the pedals to make a Neu Blus
    version of experimental noise.

Now that's an attitude that deserves respect !
And this pedal looks right up that alley, to me.

No one knows the end of the story. Seems like if you're not trying to make something new, different or unheard of, may as well sign up for Muzak.

I was alsoreading yer other thread about extreme distortion pedals. Yep, Ima old dude, but that's amazing.

    Forge ahead, CB!
