New pickguard day....

    Posted this in the Owners Club thread but thought I would post here as well. A few months ago I ordered a custom ebony pickguard for Nichol's inlay(I am in no way affiliated with this company). I had them design it so it would match the inlay work on the fretboard.
    Fast forward to 10 days ago....the guard arrived and was installed. Have to say that I am extremely happy with the results. The workmanship is exceptional. Requisite pics....before and after....

    Thanks for the kind words everyone! Been giving the guitar a good workout and boy does that ebony feel great under the fingers(I rest my ring and pinkie finger on the guard when flat picking). Wood pickguards are really the way to go if one is in the market.

    I almost didn't notice the rosette until after the pickguard was on there! very nice.
