Guitar pedals should be more like software. If you've purchased one in the past you get the upgrade price and not the full price. ;)

Funny, when I bought my OCD it said right in the owners manual that I have "the final...the best version". Guess forever didn't last long with Fuller.:lol:

Given the prevalence of complaints about the pedal affecting the pedals downstream from it, I can't believe it took this long to put a buffer on the output.

My OCD seemed to be extremely sensitive to its placement in the chain, a problem I never noticed with my PlimSoul.

That's that pesky "impedance" issue that never makes any sense.

That manufacturer is not at all prone to hyperbole.

Exactly! All excessive exaggeration always excluded. Hype, hyperbole and hoopla frankly frowned-upon.

You plug into a Kemper and find a place to tune
You hop onto the backbeat where you know there's lots of room
You're just about to solo, thinkin' it's a breeze
There's a light in your eye and Retro says "out of the club, Longhair!"
"It is a pedal, It's made of metal, no antlers for you!"

Remember years ago when buffers were evil? Now many players realize you kind of need at least one or two in your chain.

Meh. I'm sure the actual sonic differences are negligible.

Just spend the extra twenty bucks and get a Plimsoul.

An output buffer is different than buffered bypass. Would love for someone to tell us what "enhanced bypass" is from looking at the schematic - standard buffer, millenium (true) bypass, something else?

I think his "enhanced buffers" go to 11.

I have never understood the overwhelming pride with which companies announce their boxes are true bypass

Until I see some evidence otherwise, I'm assuming it's "enhanced snake oil"
