Just got a new AC 15. Limited edition with the G12 cream back. First real tube amp. I had my heart set on a deluxe reverb for the last while but tried one of these and was surprised how great it sounded. And then when my brother called me from a guitar center in seattle with a too-good-to-be-true deal I had to jump. Loving it so far and curious about what kinds of upgrades y’all have done. Speakers? Reverb tank? Tubes? Flux capacitor?

I hear Vox’s mainly sound good without much tweaking beyond the tubes and knobbies though. Got yourself a good one!

Play it for awhile before swapping parts out. Don't try fixing stuff that isnt broken in other words. If after a few weeks something bothers you make sure you what the issue is , then go about trying different stuff

You could try TungSol 12ax7’s and I found an 12at7 in V3 was great .

Just play it...don't get distracted by upgrades to a new amp...take some time to adjust your playing and your ear to it.

Oh I’m actually very happy with it as is. I’m mostly just curious and love to tinker...
