You didn't tell us what kind of stuff you liked. There are too many, really, and no good info about them. I think the Netflix original shows have a kind of "sameness" to the style - they seem great at first, but in the end they usually are very silly. Half-baked plots and characters that don't really make sense. Ozark for me was the worst like that. But I'm kind of picky. I did like Longmire.
For $15 a month you can get "HBO Now" which gives you access to pretty much all the best TV series made - The Wire, Deadwood, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and so on. I don't think any of the streaming-only services are making stuff NEARLY as good.

Line of Duty. I missed the first series, but 2, 3 and 4 were sensational

Is a sweet fairytale. (Just Kidding)

    Warning: it's not a kid's show.
It's pretty brutal. Don't watch the first episode before bedtime, you won't get to sleep.
I watched the whole first season in one day. Loved it.
Though, I'm not sure I can watch another season.

My son's watch a lot of Netflix so I see a lot of bits and it's horrendously samey to me.

Still, I liked Mindhunters a lot but I'm a sucker for forensic psychology stuff.

I liked the first season of GLOW and the documentary about the real GLOW but second season was poor.

Mrs Baby has been watching The Good Place which I keep getting sucked into. Twenty minute episodes of nonsense, it's TV for when your brain is shutting down.

Peaky Blinders is on there, although that's a BBC programme to some of us. Actually that's just local history to some of us.

Pretty much I watch a French language movie once a month on Netflix and I'd recommend doing that.

I seem to be the only one who really loved House of Cards. Best netflix series of all, imo.

We love French movies and series, there is a lot on Netflix, eg Marseille or La Foret. Now we’re watching season three of ‘Call my Agent’. Hilarious!

The Kominsky Method, Mindhunter, The Crown, Alias Grace, and House of Cards are some of my favorites. The first season of Ozark was pretty good but couldn't get through season 2.
The Ranch is just borderline entertaining for me; kind of hit and miss; funny, silly, stupid.

My kids (aged 16 - 25) love Black Mirror — I’ve never watched it so can’t comment personally.

I watched The Haunting Of Hill House & I’ve recommended it to people - a clever adaptation for the most part of Shirley Jackson’s classic horror novel. Lots of tense, creepy moments, one or two real jump scares, good reveals in the last couple of episodes (after hiding a lot of clues in plain sight), a very damaged family and some excellent acting.

Star Trek Discovery is what persuaded my wife to get Netflix. It’s a bit uneven but for my money was ultimately rewarding and has promise for Season 2.

    Hi.

Broadchurch (if your region has it. Netflix content can vary by country). You must watch it in order.
