4 votes for Kelly and Lou.

Unless you pick something like Ultimate Spinach or your names , there might be another local band with your name.

We’ve been together 10 years and we’ve figured out there might actually be 100+ bands out there with our name.

No worries though - the most well-known of them by far is a barbershop quartet.

I always suggest Day Old Donuts, but nobody ever likes that name except me.

A current duo I'm in (now becoming a trio with stand-up bass) is called Almost Blue, after an Elvis Costello song. One can certainly mine song names for band names.

EDIT: Another song name occurs. My daughter and I were in an instrumental duo called Paper Moon. We did have a focus on swing-era songs, along with Celtic musical, classical.

"Blues Over the Moon" -- Brilliant!

Of course, "Favorite Child" ain't bad, either...

    Or "Tied the Knot"...

    So many choices!

He & She is pretty close to She & Him, Zooey DeSchanel & M. Ward's duo.

    KellyLou haha.
You should have fun. I am doing more duo stuff right now than the band stuff. Easier booking, really fun, better money than trying to get enough $ for a 5 piece band. No bassists to try to keep on track and no loud drums. What's not to like? :>)
