I've seen Mike Love use these and endorse them, but at $8/button, I always thought they were overpriced. Well, after posting on another thread, I couldn't stop think about them. Then, I did a small, short product shoot for a guy that paid just enough to buy 6 for my loopswitcher. So I pulled the trigger

I think they're pretty awesome. And when I practice in my room, barefoot, they really do have a different feel. I was shocked by how good they felt. And they look cool AF!!!

Pics seem to be set to private. I can't see them.

Hmmm....I don't have them set to private, knowingly anyway. Of course they show up on my machine. If they are set to private, how I do turn that off, make them public?

I see a list of links and when clicked, they show the message:
"You do not have permission to view media within this album."

Your comment about permissions and "album" made me start thinking. See, as Admin I can see things even when others do not have permission.

I did check each image and I did not see any issues or permissions settings that could be the problem.

But I never checked the OP's Albums. And sure enough, he had marked both of his albums to PRIVATE.

I just changed them all to PUBLIC and now they will show to everyone not just Admins.

    Glad this mystery is solved.

They're all plastic and look like lollypops but do their job real good.

Yeah, I thought they were overpriced and overhyped as well. But I couldn't stop thinking about them, so when the unexpected cash rolled in, I figured wth.... Then when they arrived and I opened, I was shocked by their artistry. And then when I installed them and used them, I couldn't believe that they actually FELT that much better too. I'm a believer. I intentionally bought one of each color except black, silver, and clear. I think they're cool.

They can be bought at barefoot buttons.com I guess.

So the point is that they're easier to press because they're bigger? I thought these were only aesthetic.

I thought they were used on the control knobs so I wouldnt have to bend over and turn up the drive/dwell/mix. I dont mind the on off as much as I would like to be able to adjust standing.

I didn't think the buttons would make it soooo much easier to engage each effect, but it is much easier. Bigger target, yes, but also the size must increase the leverage because it seems to need less pressure to engage each switch.

If I had the money for those, I'd buy a new set of red Chucks for playing in. My old ones wore out.

Why would you want to play in bare feet?

When I'm playing at home, I'm generally barefoot or have only socks on.

Now you can hit the stage barefoot – hippie style. Yeah!
These things look great and if you love them and can afford them – why not?
